On November 10, the 2025 China Commercial Vehicle New Ecosystem Forum was held in Wuhan, China. Themed "Intelligent Connectivity for a Shared Success", the conference convened OEMs and industry experts to explore the intelligent transformation of global automakers, which offered a data-driven perspective from China.

Commercial and passenger vehicles differ fundamentally in function, and so do their approaches to intelligent transformation. "If the intelligence of passenger vehicles is experience-driven, focusing on smart cabins and ADAS, then that of commercial vehicles is entirely driven by economic value, centering on TCO and operational efficiency for fleet owners," stated Kai Yan. "Commercial vehicles are tools of production. Every intelligent component integrated to them must answer one key question: Can it deliver lower fuel consumption, reduced maintenance cost, higher operation availability, and lower insurance premiums?"
Redefining Core Scenarios with "Lean Data Acquisition"
"In the past, commercial vehicle connectivity primarily focused on monitoring where a vehicle is. Today, however, the focus has shifted to understanding vehicle condition, driver's safety, and operational efficiency." This is precisely where Hyper Flow, Carlinx's data acquisition platform, can make a difference, addressing the limitations of traditional "cloud-Connectivity-device" architecture, which often relies on coarse data collection and rigid configuration.

Bridging B2B and B2C Ecosystems for Cost Reduction and Operational Efficiency
When discussing how to integrate with the B2C ecosystem, to achieve cost effectiveness, Kai Yan revealed a core challenge in the current landscape: the flow of information between the B-end (fleets) and the C-end (platforms) is fragmented. Fleets seek stable cargo sources and lower operation costs, while platforms require efficient, secure, and reliable mobility capacity. "The role of Carlinx has evolved from fleet management to ecosystem connectivity. Our fleet management platform (Hyper Fleet) serves not only as a digital steward for B-end fleet but also as a data hub linking them to the C-end ecosystem."
This synergy is evident at two levels:

Closed-Loop Cost Reduction via Intelligent Applications: The trusted data loop translates into direct financial benefits for fleets. By integrating Carlinx's insurance ecosystem, the platform enables Usage-Based Insurance (UBI). Fleets with higher safety ratings and well-maintained vehicles qualify for lower premiums.
